The year is about to end and, as is now tradition, it’s time to take a look at our wine lovers’ favourite still and sparkling wines. If you haven’t decided which bubbles you will celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve with yet, here are the top ten best-selling sparkling wines of 2021. Now might be your time to decide!

3. Cygnus Sador Brut Nature Reserve

Today, we are talking about Cygnus Sador Brut Nature Reserva, a cava with extraordinary finesse and pleasant complexity, which has been aged for at least 15 months. It is made using the principles of organic agriculture and has been awarded the Top Gold distinction at the Organic Wine Award International. If you haven’t tried it yet, this is the perfect time to do so.

4. Bohigas Brut Reserva

Bohigas is the elegance of simplicity. More than eight centuries of experience are behind this still and sparkling wine producer which, quietly but steadily, continues to bring charm and tradition generation after generation. Bohigas Brut Reserva is a great example of how a cava can accompany a whole meal from start to finish. A versatile, well-structured, fresh, creamy and fruity sparkling wine that is definitely worth much more than it costs.

5. Castillo Perelada Brut Reserva

What is there to say about Perelada, where the winemaking tradition dates back to the Middle Ages? Castillo Perelada Brut Reserva shows us that there are some great value cavas. Made from a coupage of Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada, using the traditional method and aged for at least 15 months on its lees, Castillo Perelada Brut Reserva has become one of the favourites among our wine lovers. Another great favourite among sparkling wine lovers is Llopart Reserva Brut Nature. A sparkling wine made using the traditional method by the Corpinnat collective brand with a very fine and well-integrated bubble, thanks to its minimum aging of 36 months. It has delicate fruity and toasted notes and an ideal balance between creaminess and freshness. In short, a perfect sparkling wine you can’t go wrong with.

7. Gramona Imperial Reserva Brut

One of the principles governing the production of sparkling wines at the Corpinnat collective is the use of organic and biodynamic viticulture.
