The Brandy of Jerez, a unique and traditional drink to enjoy a special moment
Brandy is a spirit that is obtained through the distillation of wine, which is then aged in oak barrels. Brandy is predominantly produced in Jerez, Spain, where it is aged using the Solera System, using barrels that have previously been used to age sherry, which helps give Brandy its special taste and character. Depending on the ageing time for the Brandy, it can be classified as either : Solera, for brandies which have been aged longer than 60 months, Reserva, which have been aged for longer than one year, and Gran Reserva, for a wine that has been aged for longer than 3 years.
