Recaredo Terrers Brut Nature 2020 is a sparkling wine that captivates from the very first glimmer of its fine, almost ethereal bubbles, which caress the palate like a silk thread. On the nose, it opens with notes of pastry, toasted almond, and dried flowers, while on the palate, it balances vibrant freshness with profound elegance, akin to a whisper of the Mediterranean held in each sip. Its creamy texture and long finish evoke the leisurely pleasure of a sunlit after-dinner moment, when time stands still and everything tastes of discreet and genuine celebration.

About Recaredo Terrers Brut Nature

Terrers  is one of the emblematic sparkling wines of the Recaredo family. It is a Corpinnat Brut Nature long-aging wine made from a selected mosaic of plots in the Penedès region. Recaredo Terrers has been cultivated according to the principles of certified organic, biodynamic agriculture.

Recaredo, awith a history of almost a century, is located in Sant Sadurní d`Anoia (Barcelona). Its wines are essentially gastronomic, with a style defined by the elegance and subtlety that has captivated wine and gourmet critics: from The New York Times, to the prestigious La Revue de Vin de France, Le Monde or the influential magazines Forbes or The Wine Advocate by Robert Parker.

The Recaredo family works only with their own dry-farmed vineyards, with a strong commitment to preserve biodiversity and balance in the ecosystem that has led them to be pioneers in biodynamic certification, a step beyond organics.

Another of its principles is to make only Brut Nature long-aged Sparkling wines, that is, without any dossage or added sugar in the bottling process. All Recaredo sparkling wines are made by traditional method. 
Recaredo is working exclusively with historical varieties of the Penedès since 2014. In the case of Terrers, the coupage consists of the Xarelo, Macabeo and Parellada varieties, which are always hand-harvested, making a strict quality control of the bunches int the vineyard. Some vintages of Terrers incorporate Monastrell variety vinified in white.

To enhance structure and elegance, part of the blend consists of wines that have been lightly aged in oak casks. Secondary fermentation and bottle ageing are done exclusively with natural cork stoppers, a sustainable, recyclable material from nature, ideal for retaining the original sense of Recaredo’s long-aged wines.

Remuage (riddling) is done by hand on traditional racks and disgorging (the art of expelling the lees from the second bottle fermentation that then leaves the wine perfectly clear) is done manually without freezing the bottle neck by skilled masters – an artisanal, environmentally friendly process. The ageing on the lees of Recaredo Terrers is between 35 and 45 months.

2019 Recaredo Terrers Brut Nature Larga Crianza 2019 is a totally dry sparkling wine, with no added sugar, which on the nose offers aromas reminiscent of ripe white fruits accompanied by subtle floral notes and smoky and mineral hints. Pleasant texture on the palate, thanks to a very well-integrated carbonation. A sparkling wine with an excellent balance between creaminess and acidity, with a long mid-palate where a background of pastries and dried fruits appears, elegantly delicious.
2018

Recaredo Terrers Brut Nature Long Ageing 2018 is a mature sparkling wine boasting delectable scents of fresh white fruit, floral undertones, and hints of smoky minerals. On the palate, it is complex, refined and well-constructed. A creamy Corpinnat with harmonious acidity, a smooth delivery, and an extensive finish featuring an intriguing hint of bitter almonds.
2008 Long entry, very cool. Fruity and floral gourmand touches on a toasted background. Good and balanced acidity, the finish is long and persistent. The aftertaste is reminiscent of hints of almond and anise.

Very bright pale yellow with light touches and gold. Very fine bubbles, ending in a delicate crown.

Distinguished and prudent mineral background first followed by ripe white fruit with some floral notes. Very fresh.
2006 Very fresh and creamy. Its strong fruity character is completed with a toasted and a mineral touch. It is delicious and creamy. It has an excellent acidity and a nicely integrated fizziness. Its long finish leaves hints of toasted aromas and nuts. Excellent, very elegant cava.

Pale straw yellow with abundant thin bubbles that form a great crown.

Its aromatic complexity and freshness are remarquable. The notes of ripe white fruit and some citrus notes appear along with aromas of pastries, butter and balsamic and herbs notes. Its subtle minerality, its toasted notes and the hints of nuts forma a good background. Very balanced.
2005 Excellent, long and wide on the palate, with a high acidity providing it with freshness. Its embracing flavours are marked by their creamy texture. Very well integrated fizziness and a persistent and very elegant finish.

Intense and elegant aromas with stunning notes of white ripe fruit with lots of ripe citrus mixed with aniseed and honeyed hints, nuts and a subtle mineral background. As it starts to open up, creamy notes provided by the oak appear, forming a powerful and tasty set.
2004 Excellent, long and broad mid palate, with a high acidity that provides it with freshness. Its embracing flavours are marked by their creamy texture. Very well integrated fizziness and a persistent and very elegant finish.

A pale yellow color with golden sparkles.



On the nose appear greedy notes of white fruit, some pastries, with hints of smoky, citrus and a background of nuts.
Citrus fruits prevail in a very lively and fresh mouth, which is serious and structured at the same time.

In the nose, balsamic notes and ripe fruit stand out, surrounded by a pleasant feeling of welcome.
