1. Viña Ardanza
Produced by Bodegas La Rioja Alta, Viña Ardanza is a red wine that requires some patience. This reserva wine is filled with all the Riojan personality and spends eight years aging in the barrel and in the winery before being released. An elegant and mature red that is worth the wait.
2. La Montesa
La Montesa is a red wine from Rioja where the Garnacha variety takes centre stage. Once again Álvaro Palacios has created magic in his family winery and produced a wine that is delicious and affordable for most budgets.
3. Laya
A concentrated and sweet red wine where the ripe fruit compote is balanced with a pleasant acidity and sweet tannin. A must-try from the DO Almansa that offers so much for so little.
4. Juan Gil Silver Label
There are four generations of experience behind the good work of Bodegas Juan Gil, where they make wines with the Monastrell variety as the undisputed queen. Fleshy and velvety reds that everyone likes, like this Juan Gil Label Plata that sells extremely well year after year.
5. ÀN/2
One of the best ways to enjoy the essence of Mallorca is through ÀN/2, a wine made from the island’s most important native varieties: Callet, Mantonegro and Fogoneu, which gives it a Mediterranean character that is full of elegance and authenticity.
6. Pruno
Pruno is the living example that quality does not have to be expensive. This red wine from the Ribera del Duero has been recognised by the prestigious publication The Wine Advocate, by Robert Parker as the best Spanish wine in history for less than $20, a good price for a red that is also balanced and flavoursome. What more could you want?
7. Sangre de Toro
Sangre de Toro is, without doubt, a classic that never goes out of fashion. A red made in the DO Catalunya with a good balance between body and acidity and one of the most pleasant wines. That’s why, every year, this wine finds itself in a strong position among the top 10 of the most popular wines of the year.
8. Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos San Vicente
This Riojan red has a distinguished background. Produced by renowned winemaker Telmo Rodríguez at Remelluri, his family winery, this is an elegant and fruity wine with characteristics that mean it will suit all tastes. One of the favorites among our wine-lovers!
9. Viña Real Crianza
This red comes from one of the oldest and best known wineries in Rioja, Bodegas CVNE. Viña Real Crianza has been made since 1920 and brings us the personality, character and elegance of Rioja Alavesa.
10. Habla del Silencio…
Silence has never been so pleasant. Habla del Silencio is a flavoursome, complex and very lively wine. A fruity and versatile red that is also incredible value for money for how nice it is.
