About Ouzo Pilavas

The Pilavas family has been distilling ouzo for three generations, employing a cherished family recipe handed down through nearly six decades.
 
The production of Ouzo Pilavas involves high-quality aromatic grains and spices, with patience as its cornerstone ingredient. Ouzo Pilavas is meticulously distilled twice, ensuring a delightful concentration of flavors and exceptional purity. Furthermore, it matures for two to three months in stainless steel vats before being released to the market at its prime for consumption.
 
Ouzo is traditionally enjoyed as an aperitif, served chilled and often diluted with water or ice. Upon mingling with water, ouzo undergoes a transformation from its clear state to a milky white hue, a natural phenomenon known in French as "louche."
 
Ouzo Pilavas Anise offers an ideal pretext for social gatherings with family and friends or for savoring a moment of relaxation.
