Francesco Versio Langhe Nebbiolo is a red wine born from the passion, sensitivity, and precision of a young winemaker who, since his adolescence, dreamed of capturing the essence of Piedmont (Italy) in every bottle. In 2015, Francesco Versio was awarded the Premio Giulio Gambelli, a distinction that honours winemakers under 35 years of age who can interpret the raw material, variety, vintage, and terroir with utmost respect. The judges highlighted his finesse in extracting the essence of the grape, his technical mastery in vinification, and that creative spark that illuminates each wine, proving that youth and talent can combine to create wines of great emotion and elegance.

The winery of Francesco Versio, located in Neive (Piedmont, Italy), is grounded in a deep legacy, inherited from vineyards that belonged to his grandfather and for years nourished the excellence of Bruno Giacosa. There, between tradition and innovation, Francesco combines modern precision with the classic elegance of the region, transforming each cluster into a wine that reflects soul, technique, and passion. His work at Figli Luigi Oddero alongside Dante Scaglione has also reinforced his stylistic signature, laden with balance and delicacy.

Francesco Versio Langhe Nebbiolo is a wine that is light yet intense, with grapes sourced from the plots of Neive San Cristoforo and Currà. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel with a brief maceration on the skins, followed by six months of aging in large barrels and ten months in cement, enhancing its freshness and structure.
