The winery is part of Artevino Group, owners of several warehouses in different Spanish regions such as Izadi winery in La Rioja and Toro Vetus. The Finca Villacreces winery was founded in 2004 when the Artevino Group acquired the property. The Villacreces estate is considered one of the most spectacular estates in the area.
Finca Villacreces is a red wine, which bears the name of the estate and the winery, is a blend of Tempranillo (86%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Merlot (4%).
The grapes come from a selection of plots with low yields on a plot of 64ha located in Quintanilla de Onesimo, in the Golden Mile, a wine region famous for the quantity and quality of their wineries and wines.
The harvest is done entirely by hand in boxes of 15 kg during the second and third week of October. Once in the winery, a careful selection of clusters and grapes takes place.
For processing, after a complete stripping of the grape, a traditional fermentation takes place in stainless steel.

Since its last stage, at Finca Villacreces they considered the option of carrying out viticulture according to the most significant integration elements, to be able to conceive and personalise their wines from the vineyard itself. With this premise, they thought of the need to acquire full knowledge on the nature and its environment. All the senses were involved: search, methodology, innovation and tradition, all with the aim of extracting the maximum identities from the terroir and the fruit.
