Finca Antigua Tempranillo is a red wine from D.O. La Mancha produced by Finca Antigua.

This wine is a single-variety of Tempranillo (100%). The grapes to make this wine were harvested the second week of September. Regarding the vinification, the grapes fermented in stainless steel deposits with temperature control, and then they were macerated for 19 days. Lastly, the wine was aged for 10 months in American oak barrels.

Tasting notes Finca Antigua Tempranillo

This Spanish wine shows a creamy attack and a fleshy, light and silky mid palate in which the same balance noticed on the nose can be felt. It has a fresh finish which leaves clean sensations. A long and persistent wine.

Beautiful cherry colour with purple-blueish reflections. Clean and bright wine with abundant slow-falling tears that appear when the wine opens in the glass.

Powerful and intense notes of red and black fruits (raspberries, cherries, sloes, blackberries, gooseberries) almost stewed and get perfectly mixed with the aromas of vanilla and tofee provided by the aging in wood, achieving an elegant balance.

Envelopping attack. Creamy, fleshy and silky mid palate, with a good volume and with very balanced notes of fruit and wood. Fresh wine with character. Long and lingering aftertaste.

Intense garnet red colour with violet trims. High robe. Clean and bright. Abundant tears which slightly dye the glass.

Very intense, elegant and persistent aromas. Many ripe red fruit, almost jam. Consistent milky notes together with the notes of fine toasted notes provided by the oak along with sweety spices, cocoa and toffee.

The entry is silky on the palate, with a balance between alcohol and acidity. Aging gives a fine tannic structure, together with those of the grape tannins make it more meaty. Persistent and long finish. Retronasal route notes appear in yogurt.

Clean, intense red violet tones pillory.

Nose is presented with a high intensity, highlighting the flavors of cakes, blueberry and red fruit in syrup assembled with fine new American oak notes reminiscent of cocoa and roasted notes.
