About Can Descregut Equilibri

Equilibri is a Spanish wine made by Celler Can Descregut, a winery that aims at providing quality wines with personality. These wines reflect the character of the winery and the terroir from which they come from. This winery, which has rational production, conduct a environmentally-friendly winemaking with grapes from organic agriculture certified by the CCPAE (Catalan Committee for Organic Agriculture). The result is a set of honest wines.

Equilibri is a sparkling wine from Xarel.lo with the perfect balance, which undergoes an ageing in 300l French oak barrels from Allier for 9 months. Its ageing is completed with three additional years in the bottle before being released to the market.

A complex and surprising white wine, with a beautiful label which shows the piece of the painter J. Carlos Civit "The apprentice tightrope walker".

2015

Equilibri 2015 is an intricate white wine. It boasts a robust bouquet, characterized by an abundance of candied ripe fruit (quince, jam, apricot) that melds seamlessly with hints of citrus, spices, and smoky undertones. On the palate, it presents a substantial body and depth. The texture is velvety, supported by a marvelous acidity. It's well-rounded and smooth. The finish is extensive and remarkably enduring.
2013

Equilibri 2013 is a white wine with aromas of ripe white fruit, citrus and hints of sweet jam over a background of spices and toasted notes. On the palate it is fresh as well as voluminous. A wine where the fruit, acidity and wood are perfectly balanced.
2006 It shows a bulky attack. An unctuous, well-bodied white wine with an amazing, excellent acidity. It shows a great balance between the notes of fruit, wood and alcohol. Long and very persistent. A great option with a good value (and pleasure) for money.

Intense straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Clean and very bright. It has beautiful tears.

Clean, concentrated and complex nasal aromas with a medium intensity. Its outstanding notes of candied ripe fruit with hints of quince and apricot jam give way to citrus aromas, nice spicy notes and toasted and smoked nuances.
