About Cune Rosado

The DOCa Rioja is a land of remarkable diversity; exemplified by a glass of Cune Rosado. 
 
Directly from La Rioja Alta, in the Cerecillo and Ascarza estates, the Tempranillo grapes used to produce Cune Rosado are cultivated. In this highly esteemed area, clay-loam soils abound, nurturing the old vineyards, over 20 years old, that dominate the region. The harvest of Cune Rosado is conducted manually, always striving for utmost respect for the vine, prioritizing its health and the sustainability of the vineyard.
 
Once Cune Rosado arrives at the winery, the grape clusters are incubated whole, without destemming, in stainless steel tanks where they will ferment at a low temperature. After the yeast has completed its work, Cune Rosado is racked and left to bleed for 48 hours. This process, which extracts the must, involves separating the liquid from the solid parts by gravity, allowing the harvest pulp to drip and drain the wine. 
 
Cune Rosado undergoes no ageing. It is neither filtered nor clarified. And it doesn't need to be! Cune Rosado is an exceptional wine that requires little else. Acquire it and see for yourself!

If there is a rosé that can boast elegance, it is undoubtedly Cune Rosé 2022. Overall this is a very tasty and attractive wine, strawberry red in colour, with some bluish hints. The nose is intense, with fruity nuances that blend with spices (liquorice). On the palate it is unctuous and balanced. Very flavoursome.
2021 Cune Rosado 2021 is a wine with a pronounced bouquet, unveiling luscious scents reminiscent of strawberry sweets, complemented by floral nuances. It possesses a full-bodied and flavorsome palate, reinforcing its fruity essence alongside a balanced acidity, which lends a refreshing and enduring finish.
2014 Unctuous and balanced, this is a young wine with a great sensory evolution.
