About Parajes de Callejo

Félix Callejo is one of the wineries from the D.O. Ribera del Duero that better shows, through their wines, the greatest expressiveness of Tinta Fina (another name given to Tempranillo) and the terroir where it comes from. Parajes de Callejo  is a varietal wine made of 25-year-old Tempranillo grapes grown under the organic farming principles in order to obtain the greatest expressiveness of the "terroir". This wine is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.

2022

Parajes de Callejo 2022 is a red wine that dazzles with its bright cherry-red hue and violet undertones. On the nose, it reveals a rich aromatic profile, with ripe raspberry and cherry taking centre stage, intertwined with subtle floral notes and a hint of spice from its barrel aging. Upon tasting, it is elegant and fresh, with well-integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity. Its finish is persistent, displaying a perfect balance between the fruit and oak notes.
2021

Parajes de Callejo 2021 is a red wine that captivates from the outset with its profound bouquet of forest fruits such as blackberries and blueberries, interwoven with sweet confectionery accents and a refreshing balsamic breeze. Upon tasting, its succulent and full-bodied nature is unveiled, saturating the palate with flavors of ripe berries, a hint of cinnamon, and a spicy undertone. Also noteworthy are the delicate violet whispers that grace a prolonged and vibrant finish. This medium-bodied and well-concentrated wine promises an unforgettable tasting experience.
2009 In the mouth, it is elegant and tasty. Mid-palate marked by a great load of fruit and toasted notes, which are refreshed by a magnificent acidity and balsamic reminiscences. Long and persistent. A very recommendable red wine.

Cherry red colour with violet reflections. Clean and bright, it has an abundant tear.

Clean and high-intensity nose in which we can perceive a great balance among its load of fruit, ripe black fruits, redcurrants, blackberries with toasted aromas. Lactic, spiced and mentholated nuances and mineral nuances in the background.
