About Ca' Bianca Langhe Nebbiolo
Ca’ Bianca Langhe Nebbiolo is a Nebbiolo variety red wine produced by Ca’ Bianca in the DOC Langhe (Piedmont).
With a splendid mountainous territory and an ideal climate for the vineyard, Ca’ Bianca is a winery lying within one of the most important Italian wine regions (Alice bel Colle, Piedmont). Founded in 1950, there are currently 39 hectares of vineyards surrounding the winery. These vineyards are cultivated with the aim of producing wines to meet the needs of today’s consumers.
Ca’ Bianca Langhe Nebbiolo comes from mountainous vineyards sitting at an altitude of between 200 and 300 metres, in the Roero de Langhe region. Vineyards planted in calcareous clay soils that are trained with trellises and pruned using the traditional Guyot method. They use respectful agriculture and have an annual yield of 52 hl of wine per hectare.
The Ca’ Bianca Langhe Nebbiolo grapes are vinified with 8 days of temperature controlled maceration and regular pumping over. It is then aged for 6 months in oak barrels. After bottling, it ages for a time before going to market.
Its name is inspired by its origin: Langhe, Ca’ Bianca Langhe Nebbiolo is a red wine from one of the most world’s most prestigious wine regions.
