About Barbazul Rosado

Barbazul Rosado is the third in its series. Bluebeard, Barbazul, Barbazul Blanco and Rosado.

It is a varietal Syrah produced by the Bodega Huerta de Albala in Cádiz. The grapes come from vineyards located next to the winery, planted on hillsides at an altitude of between 100 and 200 meters above sea level. The farm has a special microclimate as it is sheltered by the Sierra de Gazalema and Bornos swamp. Hot days and cool nights and evenings help obtain a slow ripening of the grapes and maintain the acidity level of the grapes. The harvest is done manually. Barbazul Rosado is fermented for 12 days at a controlled temperature of 12ºC. A very sweet and fruity rosé.

On the palate the protagonist is the fruit. Very sweet, intense and enveloping.



Pretty reddish colour with some purple hues.



On the nose there are floral aromas. Roses with tropical fruits. Memories of citrus, berries and herbs.
2012 Nice, fresh, sharp and mellow attack followed by a light and tasty mid palate with a good load of fruit. Good aromatic and sharp acidity. Nice finish with a medium persistence. Embracing and joyful rose wine.

Nice raspberry colour with subtle violet reflections. Clean and very bright.

Clean nasal aromas with a medium-high intensity. Its initial floral aromas are followed by notes of tropical fruits, berries, citrus hints and aromatic herbs. Fragrant.
