About Lanson Rosé Label

According to historical archives, Maison Lanson, the fourth winery set up to make champagne, has been known around the world since 1760 for producing sparkling wines with a fresh, acidic style and without malolactic fermentation. An exceptional savoir-faire that has remained faithful throughout its more than 260 years of life and has earned it the status of official champagne supplier to the British royal family since 1900. With more than 100 crus at its disposal, a unique collection of reserve wines and long cellar ageing, their sparkling wines represent the unique character of a great AOC Champagne house.

One of the most famous wines made by this famous prestigious, hundred-year-old Maison, Lanson Rosé Label is one of the most sought-after rosé champagnes in the world.  Produced for over 50 years, it is made from a selection of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes from a wide variety of crus, 50% of which are Grand and Premiers Cru. In a constant quest for quality, for almost 10 years Lanson has been committed to a more sustainable viticulture, promoting a balance between soil, plants and people. To this end, they were the first Champagne House to set up a collective to actively support partner producers in the transition to sustainable viticulture. Once the grapes are harvested, they are traditionally vinified in the winery, blending 30% of reserve wines that are over 20 years old. The wine then undergoes a second fermentation following the Champenoise method and remains in the cellar for 4 years. Because it is a brut, following disgorging, the dosage liqueur is added with 8 g/l of sugar.

Lanson Rosé Label embodies the very essence of the Lanson style. Elegance, freshness and vivacity that has been maintained over the centuries and is still clear to see today.
